A friend of mine turned me on to a book called Atomic Habit (thanks mate!). I read a lot of books and listen to a lot of podcasts, I really connected with this one. Developing good habits and eliminating bad ones is very difficult. The books author, James Clear, experienced a traumatic baseball injury that required him to relearn basic life skills. That is what inspired him to dedicate his career to understanding the human behavior associated with habits. He explains it from a scientific perspective (the why), as well as providing practical guidance (the how) that makes it easy to grasp. I am frequently asked for reading recommendations – this is a good one!
Are you interested in developing better habits? Do you desire to continue to develop into the best person and leader you can be?
Check out my book review below. It provides my perspective on the authors concepts and techniques. And if you connect with it – buy the book and join me in the journey to develop Atomic Habits!
